At RED, we are proud to be supporting schools and families across the Moreton Bay Region achieve not just performing arts achievements – We’re most proud to be a part of supporting, nurturing and building confident kids.

The team at RED not only support the students through this experience, but also you, the staff and your families – making the musical a stress free and exciting time for everyone involved. By having RED at your school, we help strengthen your arts programming and develop positive relationships among students, staff , families and the greater community.

Putting on a school musical is an excellent way of showcasing the talents of the students within your school. It also provide a platform for students to express themselves creatively and develop teamwork, listening and collaboration skills. Most importantly, communities understand the value of Musicals within the school setting – they develop team work, create inclusiveness and a means of self expression for students of all ages. The process however can be a tricky one if as a school you do not have the teaching capabilities to manage the challenges a Musical can bring.

Here at RED, we remove the stress and pressure from teaching staff by running a full Musical for you! We have been coming to Red Music Centre for over a year now and I just wanted to write and let you know what an amazing year it has been. Our children have a love of music and dance and the team at Red Music have absolutely encouraged that enthusiasm every step of the way. They love coming to Red Music, in fact they ask if they can go more! Red Music definitely focuses on skills, but every single teacher at the centre does this by making sure the kids are having fun, making sure they enjoy themselves and it really encourages them to love music and dance in their own way.

Thank you Red Music for bringing out the confidence and joy in both my children. Cait absolutely loves all her teachers and through their encouragement is not afraid to try anything. My son has thrived under the guidance of his guitar teacher, who realised very quickly he needed something else than just grades and songs from the book and has given him a joy of 'playing' his instrument, not just practice, and encouragement to write his own songs. I don't pay for lessons in the hope that one day they will be stars. I do it as a gift to include the joy of music and drama in their life always, confidence in themselves to make mistakes and the practice of persistence to achieve their goals. Thanks Rob and Mel for providing a space for those important life lessons.

My daughter Natalie has been a student at Red Music Centre since it first opened its doors.Over the years Red Music Centre Directors Melissa and Rob Mataic and the team of professional teachers have played a large part in shaping Natalie into a confident and strong artist, doing what she loves to do which is sing, dance and perform on stage. As a parent I see the positive influence that the Red Music team have had on Natalie as a growing young individual. Natalie really loves her lessons and holiday programs that are run through the centre and always comes home with a smile on her face after attending.
